She was predeceased by: her parents, Edmund Schwartz and Gertrude Schwartz (Briggs); her husband Don Parry; her daughter Lynn Dyshorn; and her siblings, Briggs Schwartz, Harriet Gillespie and William Schwartz.
She is survived by: her sons, Jeff (Carol) of Sheldon and Scott (Denise) of LeMars, Iowa; her son-in-law Loren Dykshorn (Sharla) of Sioux Falls; her grandchildren, Shannon, Jessica, Ben, Ross, Autumn, Rachel and Emma; and her great grandchildren, Gates, Jace, Brees, Logan, Makenna, Tony, Penny and Josie.
Visitation was held on Sunday, September 21st 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Vander Ploeg Funeral Home (724 6th Ave, Sheldon, IA 51201). A funeral service was held on Monday, September 22nd 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Faith Community Church (506 8th St, Sheldon, IA 51201). A burial was held on Monday, September 22nd 2025 at the East Lawn Cemetery - Sheldon (700 Union Ave, Sheldon, IA 51201).
