He was predeceased by: his parents, Vern Martens and Mavis Martens (Kruger); his daughter Jessica Lynn Martens; and his siblings, Nadeen, Noreen and Verlyn Martens.
He is survived by: his wife Nancy Martens (Norton); his children, Jacquelyn Sue Martens and Justin Vern Martens; and his siblings, Robert Martens (Linda) and Deb Van Tassel (Roger). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins.
A celebration of life was held on Sunday, October 25th 2026 at 5:00 PM at the First Reformed Church. Visitation was held on Sunday, October 25th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the same location.
