With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Norma Claire Dittman of Sheldon, Iowa, who passed away on February 19, 2026 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Lent and Evelyn Lent (Van De Pette); her husband Francis Dittman; her sister Virginia Lent; her son Robert Richey (Bob); and her grandchildren, Mollie Schieffer and Robbie Richey.

She is survived by: her children, Gail Houfek (Ray) of Yankton, SD, Patty Schieffer (Marlen) of Fordyce, NE, Ralph Richey Jr. of Oregon and Roger Richey of Louisiana; her grandchildren, Raymond S. Houfek, Kimberly Palu (Michael), Angela Sudbeck (Greg), Emily Leise (Preston), Allison Schieffer, Andrew Schieffer, Colton Schieffer, Sandy Carlson (Josh) and Chrissy Richey (Chanh Nguyen); and her close friends, Nancy Hetherington and Sean Garcia.
