He is survived by: his wife Marilyn Anderson; his children, Kami Johnson (Kirk) of Cherokee, Karson DeJong (Julie) of Lake Park, Kay DeVries (Kurt) of Custer and Krisha DeJong of Sheldon; his grandchildren, Kortney Johnson (Chris), Molly Johnson, Mia Johnson, Lisa Holland (Travis), Amanda Peck (Kevin), Jennifer Uphoff (Matt), Justin VerMeer (Stacie), Bailey Bakker (James), Riley De Vries and Jacee De Vries; his great grandchildren, Landon, McKenna, Kade, Lindsay, Sheyanne, Hunter, Zofia, Gregory, Colton, Kori, Kameron, Alivia, Caden, Jack, Charlie, Kip and Susanna; his sister Belinda Carlson (Don) of Vermillion; and his sister-in-law Janice DeJong of Golden, Colorado. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
