He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence Rittgers and Esther Rittgers (Ballhagen); his wife Frances Mae Jensen; and his siblings, Gladys Elliott (Calvin), Eugene (Marvel), Merle (Rose Ella), Ralph, Charlotte, Elizabeth and Ardith Rittgers.
He is survived by: his sister-in-law Arlene Rittgers of Park Rapids, MN. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and other beloved family members as well as close friends and neighbors.
