He is survived by: his wife Lisa Marie Fairhurst (Pint) of Shell Rock; his children, Zach Fairhurst (Nancy) of Greene, A. J. Fairhurst of Madison, Wisconsin and Nichole Smith Stivers of Waterloo; his siblings, Mike Fairhurst of Dysart and Maggie Dunlap (Corwin) of Elkader; and his siblings-in-law, William Pint, Lorren Pint (Jeani) and Kimberly Pint (Jeff McElhaney). He is also survived by his nieces and nephews.
