She was predeceased by: her parents, Lawrence Roth and Agnes Roth (Michels); her former husband Paul C. Dittmer; her daughter Diane Dittmer; her son-in-law Joseph Nizzi; and her siblings, Orville Roth and Bernice Miller.

She is survived by: her children, Linda Nizzi of Lanesville, IN, Delbert Dittmer (Arnetta) of Tucson, AZ, Roger Dittmer (Carolee) of Fredericksburg, Vicky Bienemann (Keith) of Waverly, David Remley of Cedar Falls, Pamela Sorenson (Steve) of Edgerton, WI and Marvin Dittmer (Donell) of Waverly; her siblings, Jane Lane of Margate, Florida and Melvin Roth of Janesville; and her grandson Deacon Jamie Hruza (Kristin Wendland). She is also survived by 15 grandchildren; several great and great-great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Cedar Valley Hospice or St. Mary Catholic Church building fund.
