She was predeceased by: her parents, Curt Anderson and Frances Anderson; her husband Merald Hein; and her brothers-in-law, Bob Hein Wiley (Ina), Virgil Hein (Margaret), Vernon Hein, Paul Hein (Phyllis) and Ronald Smith.
She is survived by: her daughters, Jacque Baxter (Jack), Nancy Van Dyke (Merle) and Diana Greve (Dave); her grandchildren, Joel Baxter (Sara), Jenny Baxter, Jamie Smith (Matt), Ashley Foral (Dusty), Derek Van Dyke (Kate), Anna Boeke (Sean) and Andrea Greve (Brennan Jones); her great grandchildren, Nathan, Jackson, Kate, Bree, Owen, Grant, Nora and Briggs; her friends, Bob, Patsy Norris, LaMott and Bev Klepinger; and her sister Alice Smith. She is also survived by other family members and friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 1st 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Community of Christ Church (1111 IA-2, Shenandoah, IA 51601). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 1st 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, November 1st 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Essex Cemetery (1430 E Ave, Essex, IA 51638).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Community of Christ Church or the Shenandoah Food Pantry.
