He was predeceased by: his mothers, Faye "Toddy" Squires and Effie Bell Squires (Adams); his in-laws, Ed and Leona Hale; his sisters, Mary, Violet and Rosie; and his grandson Christopher.
He is survived by: his wife Mary; his children, Pam Hodges (Patrick) of Red Oak, Iowa, Mike Squires of Des Moines, Iowa and Angie Doyle (Mick) of Ashland, Nebraska; and his brothers, John Squires of College Springs and Kenneth Squires (Judy) of Albia, Iowa. He is also survived by 19 grandkids and 16 great grandkids; many, many nieces and nephews, and friends.
