We are sad to announce that on April 8, 2024, at the age of 83, Barbara J. Funk of Shenandoah, Iowa passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, William Fredrich Carl and Vera Lucille Haeffele (Duerfeldt); her husbands, Gale W. Pickard and Rex E. Funk; and her siblings, Marvin Haefflele, Wilma I. Dunbar and Mary Lou Coonce.

She is survived by : her children, Gayla J. Frohwein (Bruce) of Altoona, IA and Randy W. Pickard (Michelle) of Des Moines, IA.

Visitation was held on Friday, April 12th 2024 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Emmanuel Lutheran Church (406 E Pioneer Ave, Shenandoah, IA 51601). A funeral service was held on Friday, April 12th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to the Emmanuel Lutheran Church or Taylor House Hospice.
