He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Terry and Wilma Terry; his grandchildren, Kaylee Birt and Bryston; and his siblings, Donna Haddenham, Shirley Kragel, Diana Jones, Jim, Keith, Lyle, Kenny and Darrell Terry.
He is survived by: his wife Sherry Terry of Shenandoah, IA; his daughters, Michelle Birt (Jason) of Shenandoah, IA, Jessica Heard (Adam) of Richmond Hill, GA and Jennifer King (Cody) of Clarinda, IA; and his brother David Terry of Farragut, IA. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren; three great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews; other relatives; and many friends.
Visitation was held on Sunday, September 13th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Nishna Valley Funeral and Cremation Service (405 W Thomas Ave, Shenandoah, IA 51601). A funeral service was held on Monday, September 14th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
Memorials are being directed to the Terry family to establish a donation fund in Kim's memory to St Jude's Childrens Research Hospital.
