It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Janet C. Jones of Shenandoah, Iowa, who passed away on July 8, 2025, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Eva Gray Pettingill (Greene) and Perry Pettingill; her siblings, Don Pettingill (Lila) and Betty Macdonald (Lee); and her in-laws, Herbert and Blanche Jones.
She is survived by: her husband Darrell Jones; her daughters, Deb Finlay (Dan) and Linda Magnuson (Dale); her grandchildren, Vanessa Baldwin (Dave) and Nikki Cuva (Joe); her daughters, Michelle Blank (Brian), Krista Salazar (Sergio) and Kari Armesto; her great grandchildren, Macee Lynn Blank (Damian), Wyatt Baldwin, Abby Cuva, Macey Marie Finlay, Zach Cuva, Grace Baldwin, Baylor Blank, Sam Baldwin, Logan Holycross, Brielle Blank and Sahara Magnuson Davis; and her great great grandchild Araya Shane Moore. She is also survived by other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Monday, July 14th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the First United Methodist Church (200 Church St, Shenandoah, IA 51601). A funeral service will be held on Monday, July 14th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
