As Lee departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Lee may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Lee leaves behind.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Percy Glade and Ethel Merle Riley (Auten); his former wife Betty Morse; and his wife Sandra Bain. He is survived by: his daughters, Beckie Jones (Sam) of Essex, IA, Brenda Riley (Rod) of Essex, IA and Tammy Lutz (Stu) of Shenandoah, IA; and his brothers, Louis Riley of Clarinda, IA and Lawrence Riley of Maryville, MO. He is also survived by 3 grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren; 4 great-great grandchildren; other relatives, many friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 3rd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Nishna Valley Funeral and Cremation Service (405 W Thomas Ave, Shenandoah, IA 51601). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
