With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Lindley E. Hoopes of Shenandoah, Iowa, born in Ames, Iowa, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 31, 2025 at the age of 77. He is survived by: his wife Ruth; his mother-in-law Ruth Maynhart of Jupiter, FL; his sister Linda Raeford of Des Moines; and his pet Izzy.
