She is survived by: her friend Marcia Barnett; her husband Dale Thomas; her children, Brad Thomas (Melissa) of Coin, IA and Susan Murphy (Rob) of Poplar Bluff, MO; her siblings, Sandra Knizely of Clarinda, IA and Bill Waldron (Vicki) of Fort Scott, KS; her sister-in-law Katy Martin (Norb) of Shenandoah, IA; and her grandchildren, Matthew Thomas (Hannah) of Coin, IA, Amanda Baldwin (Jesse) of Council Bluffs, IA, Kelsey Heath (Seth) of Clarinda, IA, Kali Mattox (Johnathan) of Poplar Bluff, MO and Aleah Thomas of Coin, IA. She is also survived by 11 great grandchildren; many other relatives; and friends.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 9th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Nishna Valley Funeral and Cremation Service (405 W Thomas Ave, Shenandoah, IA 51601). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, September 9th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
