With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Rosalie A. Downing of Shenandoah, Iowa, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 5, 2025 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Lawrence L. Alff and Violet P. Alff (Bird); her husband Jim of Casey, Iowa.; and her son Matthew. She is survived by: her children, Kelly (DeeAnn), Ginger and Sherrill Ehlen (Jim); her siblings, Shirley Kenny (Bill) and Wendell Alff (Darlene); and her grandchildren, Doug Downing (Kim), Joe Britton (Katie), Jessie Brown, Blair Moisant (Zach), Emily Lundeen (Alan), William Ehlen, Brianna Ehlen and Pay. She is also survived by 6 great grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and dear, dear friends.
