She was predeceased by: her parents, George Wolf and Mary Wolf (Winter); her husband Merlin Brimeyer of Sherrill, IA; her parents-in-law, Felix and Anna Brimeyer (Wagner); her daughter-in-law Judy Brimeyer; and her siblings, Ardella Connolly, Marlene Dupont and Nicholas Wolf.
She is survived by: her children, Steve Brimeyer (Judy) of Sherrill, Debbie Steffen (Wayne) of Rickardsville, Rick Brimeyer of Sherrill, Judy Hefel (Milo) of Dubuque, Connie Henkes (Dana) of Dubuque and Tom Brimeyer of Sherrill; her grandchildren, Jenny Kruger (Lance), Julie Mueller, Peggy Hanson (Marc), Jason Steffen (Kelli), Crystal Smith (Jesse), Rachel Schilling (Adam), Michelle Klaren (Rob), Matthew Brimeyer (Jenni Scott), Sarah Smith (Ted), Kayla Nadermann (Tony), Rebecca Barton (Tyler), Brittni Benda (Charles), Brandon Hefel (Holly), Brock Hefel (J. Whitaker-Long), Stephanie Farber (Nick) and Jeremy Henkes; her sister-in-law Marlene Brimeyer; and her in-laws, Ray Ernzen, Frank Connolly, Richard Dupont, Doris Wolf, Reynold Brimeyer, Gilbert, Norma Brimeyer, LaVerne Brimeyer, John, Delores Hannan and Annette Brimeyer-Ament. She is also survived by 31 great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, a Jeanette L. Brimeyer Memorial Fund has been established.
