She was predeceased by: her father Roger Smidt; and her grandparents, Case, Edith Smidt, Fred and Winnie Poppema.
She is survived by: her mother Carol Smidt (Poppema) of Sibley Iowa; her husband Chris Morris; her siblings, Randy Smidt (Tandra) of Webster and Crista Smidt of Orange City; her nephew Jeff Smidt (Brooke); and her great-nieces and great-nephews, Rylee and Ronin of Webster.
Visitation will be held on Friday, May 30th 2025 from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM and at 8:15 PM. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 31st 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the Christian Reformed Church (115 Maple Dr, Sibley, IA 51249).
