Harriet leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing her. Harriet’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around her. Though she is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support she offered will continue to resonate. All who knew Harriet will carry forward her memory in their hearts.
She was predeceased by: her husband Richard Vande Hoef. She is survived by: her children, Dennis Vande Hoef (Cynthia) of St. Petersburg, FL, Judy Hagey (Robert) of Urbandale, IA, Duane Vande Hoef (Pam) of Sibley, IA and Brian Vande Hoef (Sandra) of Harris, IA. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 40 great-grandchildren and 5 great-great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, and other extended family.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 3rd 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Christian Reformed Church (115 Maple Dr, Sibley, IA 51249). A memorial service was held on Friday, September 4th 2026 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the same location.
