Though Jan may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Jan leaves behind.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William "Bill" Boer and Nelva De Boer (Strootman); and his brothers, Charles "Chuck" De Boer and Willis "Willie" De Boer. He is survived by: his wife Constance "Connie" De Boer of Sibley, IA; his sons, Douglas De Boer (Jo Ann) of Buffalo Center, IA, Jeffrey De Boer (Kristine) of Minnetrista, MN and Bradley De Boer (Joelle) of Waukee, IA; his sister Glenda Reinke (Larry) of Spirit Lake, IA; and his sisters-in-law, Esther De Boer and Linda De Boer. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and other extended family.
Visitation was held on Friday, June 13th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Calendar Jurrens Funeral Home of Sibley (505 9th St, Sibley, IA 51249).
