It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lila Wilson of Sibley, Iowa, born in Sheldon, Iowa, who passed away on August 19, 2023, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Andrew Wiel and Lorris Vander Wiel (Kane); her son Michael Wilson; and her brothers, Ronald Vander Wiel and Barry Vander Wiel.

She is survived by : her former life partner James Wilson; and her daughters, Mary Martin (Jeff) of Sibley, IA, Beth Molitor (David) of Sibley, IA, Lynn Mulder (Steve) of Sibley, IA and Kathy Wilson (Loren Sohl) of Boyden, IA. She is also survived by nine grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews and other extended family.
