It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Marlene Slykhuis of Sibley, Iowa, who passed away on March 3, 2023, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Jans Loh and Fenna Van Loh (Luitjens); her husband Dale Slykhuis; her daughter Marcia; and her siblings, Johanna Kraft, Katie Rensink, John Van Loh, Fred Van Loh, Henrietta Van Loh and Reynold Van Loh.

She is survived by : her children, Jeff Slykhuis (Nora) of Custer, SD, Daryl Slykhuis (Kay) of Sioux Falls, SD and Alan Slykhuis (Patty) of Ashton, IA. She is also survived by twelve grandchildren; and 18 great grandchildren; along with extended family and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Ashton Bible Church.
