Verla Larson Obituary
We are sad to announce that on April 5, 2024, at the age of 92, Verla Larson of Sibley, Iowa, born in Ellsworth, Minnesota passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by : her parents, Cornelius "Curly" Heikes and Lena Heikes; and her siblings, Lambert, George, Madeline, Adeline and Lorraine.
She is survived by : her husband Don; her daughters, Lori Lovera of Minneapolis, Minnesota, Luann Dodge of Eau Claire, Wisconsin, Debbie Liechty (Bob) of Marion, Iowa, Donna Larson of Johnston, Iowa, Becky Block (Tom) of Sibley, Iowa and Valerie Larson-Holmes (Mike) of Brandon; and her grandchildren, Nikki Pelant (Jeff), Alex Lovera (Serena), Erica Draeger (Eric), Zachary Lovera (Olivia), Jesse Dodge, Sarah Dodge (Kristian Johnson), William Liechty (Emily), Katie Solano (Anthony), Andrea, Caroline Liechty, Amanda Goetzke (Luke), Brandon Korkow (Anna), David Korkow, Brittiany Meyne (Nick), Brian Block (Nicole), Taylor Block, Cameron Holmes (Carolyn Lussenhop), Andrew Holmes (McKayla), Elizabeth Blue (Mason) and Carter Holmes. She is also survived by 21 great-grandchildren.
A celebration of life was held on Tuesday, April 9th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Open House.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Osceola County Ambulance Service.
