She was predeceased by: her parents, Richard Haynie and Mary Haynie; her husband Robert William Sutton; and her brothers, Dick and Jim Haynie.
She is survived by: her brother Bill Haynie of Rhode Island; her children, Mary Sutton of Georgia and Robert Sutton Jr. (Theresa) of North Carolina; her grandchildren, Michael Sutton (Jenni), Mitchell Sutton (Amanda) and Rebecca Cox (Brandon); and her great grandchildren, Jack, Ava, Miles and Henry Sutton. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Nishna Valley Funeral Home (500 S Main St, Sidney, IA 51652). The inurnment will be held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the Sidney Cemetery.
