He was predeceased by : his parents, Edwin Crawford and Hazel Crawford of Sidney, Iowa.. He is survived by : his sons, James (Linda) of Murietta, Jeffrey (Cheryl) of Purcellville and John of Sidney; his sister Beverly; his nephew Bryan LaGree (Cindy) of Leawood, Kansas; his niece Jane Allingham (Kent) of Lake Mary, Florida; and his wife Donna. He is also survived by seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

Memorials will go to the Sidney Victory Life Church.
