It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Ann Kerkove in Sigourney, Iowa, who passed away on July 5, 2025, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Fagen and Charlotte Fagen; her sister Joan Clement; her siblings-in-law, Mike Clement and Jennie Fagen; her grandson John Bown; and her great grandchild Jillian Rhoderick.
She is survived by: her husband John "Richard" Kerkove; her children, Rick Kerkove (Jodi) of Lake St, Tricia Lawson (Michael) of Dallas, Peggy West (Rodney) of Oskaloosa, Janice Kerkove (David Richardson) of Cedar Rapids and Joyce Kerkove (Bill Bowermaster) of Kansas City; her friend Joy Bradley of Marthasville, Missouri; her grandchildren, Kris Kerkove (Alysia), Kari Rhoderick (Matt), Kyle Kerkove (Paige), Travis Bohl, Jessica Comstock (Mark), Emily Scholtus (Cody), Denita West, Carrie Ann West, Nathaniel Richardson (Trang Tran), Jonathan Richardson, Rachel Bowermaster and Katelyn Bowermaster; her great grandchildren, Carter Kerkove, Reid Kerkove, Jakob Rhoderick (Sam), Jaden Rhoderick (Hannah), Jameson Rhoderick, Tatum Kerkove, Dejah Bohl, Theo Bohl, Kaden Fisher, Jayden Comstock, Ethan Fisher, Greyson Fisher, Brody Barnhart, Leah Scholtus and AJ Tolliver; her great great grandchild Walker Rhoderick; and her siblings, Connie Eggleston (Wayne), Ed Fagen (Maggie), Wini Francis (Mike), Mary Joyce Johnson (Denny) and Peter Fagen (Sarah). She is also survived by many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, July 8th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Holm Funeral Home (320 N Shuffleton St, Sigourney, IA 52591). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, July 9th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Sigourney Christian Church (308 S Jefferson St, Sigourney, IA 52591). A burial was held on Wednesday, July 9th 2025 at the Garrett Cemetery.
