He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Rees and Mary Rees (Phillips). He is survived by: his wife Linda Axmear; his children, Dick Rees (Carol) of Palmyra and Stephanie Campbell (Rob) of Oskaloosa; his grandchildren, Shelby Rees, William Campbell, Rees Campbell and Allison Campbell; his sister Jane Groet (Jim Phillips) of Eddyville; his sister-in-law Karen Rees; and his pet Daisy. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, treasured friends.
Visitation was held on Sunday, June 1st 2025 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Powell Funeral Home (105 N Jefferson St, Sigourney, IA 52591). A celebration of life was held on Monday, June 2nd 2025 at 10:30 AM at the What Cheer Methodist Church (106 E Broadway St, What Cheer, IA 50268).
The Bill and Linda Rees Memorial has been established in honor of their generous spirits, through Bank Iowa in Oskaloosa.
