Linda Rees Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Linda Rees of Sigourney, Iowa, who passed away on May 26, 2025 at the age of 82. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Linda Rees to pay them a last tribute.
She is survived by: her husband Bill Rees; her children, Dick Rees (Carol) of Palmyra and Stephanie Campbell (Rob) of Oskaloosa; her grandchildren, Shelby Rees, William Campbell, Rees Campbell and Allison Campbell; her brother Rick Axmear (Thaydean) of Sanford; her sister-in-law Marietta Axmear; and her close friend Anne Herr Duinink. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and treasured friends.
Visitation was held on Sunday, June 1st 2025 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Powell Funeral Home (105 N Jefferson St, Sigourney, IA 52591). A celebration of life was held on Monday, June 2nd 2025 at 10:30 AM at the What Cheer Methodist Church (106 E Broadway St, What Cheer, IA 50268).
The Bill and Linda Rees Memorial has been established in honor of their generous spirits, through Bank Iowa in Oskaloosa.
