It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Michael Bucher (Sigourney, Iowa), who passed away on October 2, 2025, at the age of 61, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Michael Bucher to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his mother Helen Bucher (Young); and his sister Sally Bucher Chittick Long (Jan Frederick). He is survived by: his father Russell Bucher; his children, Keith Reed (Alicia) of Brunswick, GA and Trina Hilligas (Shawn) of Badger, MN; his grandchildren, Luna Reed, Talon Hilligas and Wyatt Hilligas; his sister Deb Anderson (Mark); his uncle Bob Bucher; and his friend Sarah Frederick. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 7th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Powell Funeral Home (116 W Broad St, North English, IA 52316).
A memorial fund has been established for ISU Foundation-Alpha Gamma Rho Fraternity Scholarship or Farmers Lodge.
