She was predeceased by : her parents, Elmer Young and Faith Young (Palmer); her husband Gary Dale Karr; and her siblings, Sandra Young, Charlotte Lemley, Nela Gonterman, Patricia Carson, Wanda Brereton, Eugene Young, Kenneth Young, Keith Young and Richard Young.
She is survived by : her children, Sandra Karr and Jason Karr of Wayland; and her siblings, Sylvia Miller of Kalona and James Young (Richard Young) of Coralville. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
