We bid farewell to Albert Schelling of Sioux Center, Iowa, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on May 23, 2026 at the age of 81. Albert touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. Though Albert may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Albert touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John C. Schelling and Hendrena Schelling (Van Beek); and his brother-in-law Bill (Hoed). He is survived by: his wife Sadie Schelling of Sioux Center, IA; his sons, Matthew Schelling (Cheryl) of Sioux Center, IA and Cornelius "Neil" (Jaclyn) of Alton, IA; and his siblings, Cornelius J. Schelling (Esther) of Hull, IA, Harold Schelling (Wilhelmina) of Sioux Center and Gertrude (Hoed). He is also survived by eleven grandchildren; and thirteen great-grandchildren.
