It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Arlene Van Voorst of Sioux Center, Iowa, who passed away on September 20, 2023, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including : her mother Reva Van Den; her husband Wayne Van Voorst of Sioux Center; her children, Curt Van Voorst (Jewel) of Sioux Center, Kristi Hoogendoorn (Kent) of Sioux Center and Alex Van Voorst (Rachel) of Sioux Center; her grandchildren, Michaela Lindhout (Luke), Keaton Hoogendoorn (Kayla), Devin Van Voorst (Brianna), Keanna Koenen (Byron), Karter Hoogendoorn, Bridger Van Voorst, Lily Van Voorst, Adalyn Van Voorst, Eva Van Voorst and Mila Van Voorst; her great grandchildren, Keira, Kendra, Jayde, Kinley, Emmett and Zachary; her brother Gary Van Den (Norma); her parents-in-law, Janet Post (Willard), Sheryl Vande Berg (Norm), James Van Voorst (Linda), Carl Van Voorst (Jan), Esther Van Der Brink, Marv Van Voorst (Janice), Norma Van Vliet (Steve), Ruth Vander Helm, Leann Klootwyk (Mike) and Dave Van Voorst (Lisa); her brother Glenn Van Den Berg; and her brother-in-law Ron Van Der Brink.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to the Netherlands Reformed Christian School in Rock Valley.
