With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Donald Arthur Van Egdom of Sioux Center, Iowa, who passed away on March 29, 2025 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Peter Egdom and Jennie Van Egdom (Herman); and his siblings, John (Jennie), Edward (Jeanette), Theodore, Peter Jr., Elmer, Elizabeth Vander Esch (Henry), Nellie Vande Stroet (Gilbert) and Evelyn Ykema.
He is survived by: his wife Lois Schneider; his children, Donine Ruhland of Omaha, Lori Peterson (Brent) of Sioux Rapids, Rachele Warner (Darrell) of Sioux Center, Stacey Johnson (Stuart) of Hawarden, Robert Van Egdom (Michelle) of Bellevue and Jamie Moothart; and his siblings-in-law, Zeanna Van Egdom of Sioux Falls and Norman Ykema of Luverne, Minnesota. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren.
