We bid farewell to Gert Boer of Sioux Center, Iowa, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on June 9, 2025 at the age of 92. Gert touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. Though Gert may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Gert touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
Visitation was held on Monday, June 16th 2025 from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM at the Bethel Christian Reformed Church (341 S Main Ave, Sioux Center, IA 51250). A prayer was held on Tuesday, June 17th 2025 at 9:45 AM and at 10:00 AM at the same location. A memorial service was held on Tuesday, June 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Memorials may be given to the Unity Christian High School Foundation or the Western Christian High School Foundation.
