He was predeceased by: his parents, Cornelius Den and Christine Van Den (Hop); his wife Phyllis Weerheim; his parents-in-law, Ella Weerheim and Phil Weerheim; his grandson Joey Slothouber; and his sister Thelma Van Otterloo.
He is survived by: his children, Troy "Buzz" Van Den Hul of Orange City, IA, Sharri Wheeler of Hardwick, MN, Jacki White of Rock Valley, IA and Rhonda Bruggeman of Sioux Falls, SD; his siblings, Herm VanDenHul (Dawn) of Sioux Center, IA, Antionette Griffin of Beaver Creek, MN, Cheryl Westra (Cal) of Mount Pleasant, TX and Toni Van Wyhe (Harold) of Luverne, MN; and his siblings-in-law, Jim Weerheim (Jill) and Esther Altman (Jack). He is also survived by 18 Grandchildren; 14 Great grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews, many extended family members, and multiple friends.
