She was predeceased by : her parents, Cornie Hoekstra and Henrietta Hoekstra (Elenbaas); her husband Jim Horstman; her brothers, Alvin Hoekstra and Corwin Hoekstra; her great grandchild Gabrielle Horstman; her brother-in-law Dennis Vis; her parents-in-law, Evert and Margaret Horstman; and her siblings-in-law, Esther Zevenbergen (Art), Ken Horstman and Norm Horstman (Alberta).

She is survived by : her child Crista Mulder (Mike); her grandchildren, Olivia and Cali (Connor Tvedt); her great grandchild Paisley; her grandchildren, Miranda Mulder (Dawson), Anna, Aiden and Dustin Horstman (Robin); her great grandchildren, Bryn, Jordyn and Mykenah; her children, Ellie, Rosie and Allison Bossenbroek (Steve); her grandchildren, Beatrix, Maxima and Lee; her sons, Joshua, Noah and Waylen; her sisters, Marge Van Gelder (Arnie), Gladys Hoekstra (Harold) and Karen Brands (Jack); and her sister-in-law Virginia Hoekstra. She is also survived by her children, 7 grandchildren, 17-great and great-great grandchildren.
