It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Josephine Ann Dirksen of Sioux Center, Iowa, who passed away on July 18, 2022, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her father Harm Hilvers; her husband Arlyn Dirksen; her parents-in-law, Arthur and Hermina Dirksen; her granddaughter Rachel Leusink; and her sister Betty Verkaik.

She is survived by : her mother Alice-Ann Hilvers (De Jong) of Ripon, CA; her children, Joisanne Dirksen of Sioux Center, IA, Arthur Dirksen (Marianna) of Goodwin, SD and Allison Leusink (Josh) of Hawarden, IA; her grandchildren, Mikayla, Samantha, Rebecca, Alyssa, Wyatt, Karlee and Paul; her siblings, Pam Sleeman of Ripon, CA, Nanci Dragt (John) of Lake Norden, SD, Harm Hilvers Jr. of Lake Norden, SD and Brenda (Arie) of Jong; and her siblings-in-law, Robert Verkaik of Golden Valley, AZ, Bev Mouw (Harv) of Fontana, CA, Shirley Vander Veen (Lowell) of McMinnville, OR, Nancy De Jong of Turlock, CA and Tom (Julie) of Watertown, SD. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and extended family and friends.
