Lois Eileen Van Egdom Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lois Eileen Van Egdom of Sioux Center, Iowa, who passed away on October 4, 2025 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Schneider and Nora Schneider (Miller); and her husband Donald Van Egdom. She is survived by: her children, Donine Ruhland of Omaha, Lori Peterson (Brent) of Sioux Rapids, Rachele Warner (Darrell) of Sioux Center, Stacey Johnson (Stuart) of Hawarden, Jamie Moothart of Hawarden and Robert Van Egdom (Michelle); and her siblings, Jeanette Kircher of Akron, Iowa and Wendell Schneider (Virlene) of Akron. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren.
The family prefers memorials be directed to the Hope Food Pantry or Family Crisis Center both found in Sioux Center.
