It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Phyllis Van Regenmorter of Sioux Center, Iowa, who passed away on April 10, 2024, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Sjoerd Bolkema and Anna Bolkema; her husband Richard Van Regenmorter; her son Evan; and her siblings, Bernice, Lucretia, Angeline, Lorrene, Mathilda, Clara, John, George and Harold.

She is survived by : her children, Merlyn Van Regenmorter (Heidi) of Carmichael, CA, Bob Van Regenmorter (Suzy) of Sioux Falls, SD, Donna Grenko (Ron) of Elizabethtown, PA and Sue Van Regenmorter of Omaha, NE. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Sunday, April 14th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Memorial Funeral Home (12 16th St SE, Sioux Center, IA 51250). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, May 8th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the Centerpoint Church (160 10th St SE, Sioux Center, IA 51250).

In remembrance of Phyllis's life, the family asks that any charitable donations be made to either Christ's Hands in Sioux Center or Samaritan's Purse, two of her favorite charities.
