She was predeceased by: her parents, John Nelson and Eva Nelson (Holbrook); her sisters, Berniece, Ivy and Leona; her parents-in-law, Helen and Floyd Hughes; her brother-in-law Vincent Hughes; her sister Beverly; her brother-in-law Dwayne Waddell; and her daughter-in-law Patricia Hughes.
She is survived by: her husband Charles Hughes; her children, Randy Hughes, Relda Zemanek (Jim) and Milo Hughes (Julie); her grandchildren, Kristi Husk (Joshua), Tim Zemanek, Tasha Burns (Adam), Clint Hughes (Jessica), Corey Hughes (Brittany) and Kyle Hughes (Haley); her great grandchildren, Willow, Zander, Kendra (Noah), Preston, Sophia, Isabella, Mackenzie, Brooklyn, Charlie, Jack and Luke; and her great great grandchild Eliza.
In lieu of flowers, family requests memorials be made to Glendale Community Baptist Church, or Hospice of Siouxland, in Anna's name.
