He was predeceased by : his parents, Elmer W. Spangler and Dora E. Spangler (Suhr); his wife Lila Burns; his stepdaughters, Carol Wagner and Judy Parr; his brothers, Keith, Kenneth and David Spangler; and his siblings-in-law, Sylvia Spangler, Barbara Spangler and Melvin Lamb.
He is survived by : his sister Janice Lamb of Wakefield, NE; his stepson Richard "Dick" Burns of Springfield, IL; his sister-in-law Jackie Spangler of Lincoln, NE; and his close friend Linda Hall of Sioux City.
Memorials may be directed to the Knights of Columbus Father Trecy Council #3844 for secondary education purposes.
