It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Barbara Best of Sioux City, Iowa, who passed away on April 14, 2022, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Rudolph Ondracek and Marie Ondracek (Koreck); her husband Jim Best; and her daughter-in-law Tracy Best. She is survived by: her children, Jerry (Tammy), Larry (Michele) of Sioux City, Don (Tracy) of Hinton, IA, Jim (Mavis) of Volga, SD, Randy (Jodi) of Sergeant Bluff, IA, Sandy Lara (Rick) and Jenny Haltli (Bob Klemmensen) of Sioux City; her sister Libby Sydow (Alan) of Otterville, MO; and her sisters-in-law, Carol Gildea (Jack), Linda Doohen (Dave) of Lompoc, CA and Susan Cutter of Cedar Rapids, IA. She is also survived by 25 loving grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren.
