With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Barbara A. Schindler (Sioux City, Iowa), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 11, 2026 at the age of 92. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest Brodersen and Alice Brodersen (Lentz); her husband Bill; her siblings, Alan and Donna; her siblings-in-law, Wilma, Pat and Harold; her in-laws, Emma, Delbert McLain, Henry, Marlene Schindler, Walter and Arlene Schindler; and her stepmother Beulah Brodersen.
She is survived by: her children, Kevin Schindler (Lisa) of Le Mars, IA, Karen Anderson (Ray) of Ponca, NE and Keith Schindler (Camille) of Hinton, IA; her siblings, Judy Dirckx (Greg), Roger Brodersen and Bob Brodersen (Jean); her grandchildren, Jeremy (Diane), Alex (Elizabeth), Cole (Carli), Katelyn (Michael), Madysen (Daniel) and Will; and her great grandchildren, Bentley, MacKenzie, Elliot, Connor and Aislynn.
