He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonard Otto and Frances Jane Garbe (Shelton); and his father-in-law Robert E. Bonnes. He is survived by: his wife Patricia Jo Bonnes; his daughter Jaime Furrow (Dusty); his grandchildren, Jayce and Maci; his son Grant Garbe (Megan); his grandchildren, Aiden and Carter; his daughter Tricia Keleher (Kacey); and his grandchildren, Arabelle and Beau.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Pier Center for Autism (for the Capital Campaign) in honor of Bruce for his sweet granddaughter Arabelle.
