He was predeceased by: his parents, Gerald Downs and Jo Ann Simmons. He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth Downs; and his children, Anastasia Downs and Damien Downs.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 31st 2026 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Lake Forest Trailer Court Community Center (3700 28th St, Sioux City, IA 51105).
