We announce the death of David Michael Kriech (Sioux City, Iowa), who passed away on August 23, 2026, at the age of 87. David will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. David will be remembered for the impact he had on the lives of those around him. Friends, family, and colleagues will cherish their memories and the time shared. Those who knew David will remember moments of kindness, warmth, and presence. Though words cannot fully capture his life, the legacy of connections and experiences remains. David’s absence will be deeply felt by those who valued his companionship.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Edward and Louisa Baden Kriech; and his brother Charles "Skip" Kriech. He is survived by: his spouse Bobett LaRae Dennehey; and his children, Michael, Patrick and Patricia. He is also survived by three children, and eight grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests a memorial donation to The American Red Cross (https://www.redcross.org) in David's name.
