With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Della R. Mahon (Sioux City, Iowa), born in Pender, Nebraska, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 7, 2025 at the age of 92. She was predeceased by: her parents, Wilmer Potter and Louise Potter (Novak); her siblings, Hazel Sorensen, Glora Mae Bentz and Donald Potter; and her granddaughters, Sarah Lee and Talia Bergman.
She is survived by: her husband Edward Mahon; her daughters, Kathy Nance (Ray), Jeanette Lee (Mark) and Beth Wilson; and her grandchildren, Jennifer Strickland (Jeremy), Caleb Nance (Cari), Adam Raub (Brandie) and Stephanie Lahm (Zachary). She is also survived by ses nine great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren, and many treasured nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, July 11th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Calendar Restoration Church (4310 Old Lakeport Rd, Sioux City, IA 51106).
