With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Don C. Petersen (Sioux City, Iowa), born in Armour, South Dakota, who passed away on September 28, 2020 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Petersen and Ruth Petersen (Phoenix); and his wife Elaine L. Padrnos. He is survived by: his children, Pamela Donelan (Mark) of Sioux Falls, SD, Susan Hammond (Les) of Sioux City and Don E. Petersen (Cindy) of Mitchell, SD; his brother Dana Petersen (Phyllis) of Pierre, SD; his grandchildren, Jennifer, Patrick Donelan, Jessica Hammond and Jeff Petersen; and his great grandchildren, Katie, Abby, Ava and Jack.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Hospice of Siouxland.
