He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence "Larry" T. Salmon and Johanna "Jo" G. Salmon (Bosman); his daughter Paula Gene Hollinger; his brother-in-law Dave Harbeck; and his parents-in-law, Don Harbeck and Gerry Harbeck.
He is survived by: his wife Kathy Salmon (Kat) of Sioux City, Iowa; his sons, Tony Salmon of Sioux City and Mike Salmon of DesMoines, Iowa; his son-in-law Joe Hollinger of Sioux City; his grandchildren, Kelani Salmon of Clairmont, Kyson Salmon of DesMoines, Maisey Salmon of Sioux City, Brady Salmon and Charles Swearengine; his siblings, Larry Salmon (Tracy) of Sioux City, Iowa, Tom Salmon (Trish) of Fairmont, Mary Ellen Attema (Pete) of LeMars, Iowa, Pat Harms (Jerry) of Spirit Lake and Glenda Salmon of Mt. Home, Arkansas; his siblings-in-law, Dan Harbeck (Alana) of Idaho Springs, Brad Harbeck (Kim) of Chandler, Arizona and Jo Harbeck of Sioux City, Iowa; and his close friend Sallie. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews, cousins, and friends.
Memorials may be offered to Tunnels to Towers Foundation or the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ASPCA).
