She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Sweatt and Blanche Sweatt (McDaniel); her husband Kevin Cole; her sisters, Becky, Linda and Karen; and her pet Husker.

She is survived by: her boyfriend Gerald "Jerry" Kelley of Sioux City, IA; her children, Lisa Johnson (Jason) of Moville, IA, Keith Cole of Moville, IA, Allie Larned (Phoenix) of Sioux City, IA, Matthew Kelley (Charlotta) of Omaha, NE, Jeremy Kelley (Jessica) of Milford, IA and Alyssa Kelley of Columbus, NE; and her siblings, Patsy Windle (Kelly), Mike Sweatt (Deb), Leon Jr. Crabtree (Renee), Mark Crabtree (Nicole) and Kathy Sweatt (Ree).

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family for a donation in Lynn's name.
